Go bolder with the Festive Taste of Peter Street Kitchen: stone bass with Andean chilli lime salt, paprika-dusted calamari with green chilli and cayenne mayonnaise, and a yoghurt and white chocolate mousse with goma sponge and calpico sorbet, served with Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial NV or an Ume Bellini.

The Festive Group Dining menu is built for the middle of the table: crispy filo king prawns with wasabi mayonnaise, sliced ribeye with truffle and wasabi butter, and kurimu, a passion fruit crème brûlée with coconut sorbet and umeshu jelly, all served alongside a glass of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial NV or an Ume Bellini. No debating who ordered what, just pass, share, repeat.

Christmas Eve Dinner

Christmas Eve at Peter Street Kitchen, inside Manchester’s Free Trade Hall, means the full à la carte menu, just the kitchen doing what it does best. Whether you're squeezing in a last dinner before the big day or making an evening of it with friends, there's plenty to share. Start with the Kaisen Moriawase, a seafood platter of oysters, tiger prawns, tuna sashimi, hamachi tartare and Cornish crab, then move on to a grilled A5 Wagyu ribeye with chilli truffle teriyaki, sliced ribeye with truffle and wasabi butter, or black cod with green chilli shiso salsa.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day at Peter Street Kitchen in Manchester is given the whole afternoon, from 12:30pm to 8pm, where a five-course menu has been built to be relished, not rushed: Champagne-cured Scottish salmon with hamachi and passion fruit dressing to open, a Moët Brut jelly with blood orange sorbet to clear the palate, aged beef Wellington with charred greens and red wine reduction taking centre stage, and a Madagascan vanilla yule log with chestnut caramel, beetroot and pistachio sablé to finish the festive feast. Alongside it, a three-course children's menu keeps the youngest guests just as well looked after.
